Sovereignty of Joy - a solo exhibition by Jonathan Thunder, celebrates the joy found in life’s everyday moments. Thunder combines Indigenous storytelling with his distinct surreal style, featuring symbolic masks, hybrid creatures, and imaginative landscapes. Influenced by the rhythms of urban life, tribal motifs, and dreamlike imagery, his works craft narratives that explore identity and place with a playful yet thoughtful edge.
