Leeya Rose Jackson is a multidisciplinary artist based in Minneapolis, MN, originally from Detroit, MI. Her creative pursuits include painting, filmmaking, illustration, textile art, and graphic design. Her work explores the intersections of identity, particularly Blackness, femininity, and queerness, often featuring celestial and universal surrealism motifs. She has created for Afropunk Music Festival, American Public Media, Sony Music, Giphy, Metro Transit, Outside Lands Festival, Heinz, and The Prince Estate.
